The situation

Where the off-the-shelf model breaks.

Automotive retail and service runs on context the team holds in its head: which vehicle, what was done last time, what is due, who the customer is. When that context lives in a physical ledger or a senior employee's memory, the business cannot scale past that person, and a single absence or departure takes years of customer history with it.

Generic retail or POS software has no concept of a vehicle, a service history, or a workshop bay. A fitted system makes the vehicle the spine of the record, so any team member can pick up any customer with full context, and the workshop runs on a schedule rather than on shouting across the floor.
